Yes, it is necessary for women to have a Mahram (Companion) while performing Umrah, as per Islamic jurisprudence. The Saudi government, however, has given some relaxations in this regard. The government allows women aged 45 and above to travel without a Mahram. She needs to travel in a group, though.

An Original Passport with validity for at least 8 months from the date of submission.
One recent passport size color photograph with a white background. The photograph must be a full-face view facing the camera directly. Side or angled views are NOT accepted.
Women and children should be accompanied by husband/father or a male relative (Mahram). Proof of relationship is required (a marriage certificate for a wife, a birth certificate for a child indicating the names of both parents). The Mahram must travel into and out of Saudi Arabia on the same flight as his wife and children.
Note: If a woman is 45 years old or older, she is allowed to go without a Mahram if she travels with an organized group or family and submits a notarized No Objection Certificate from her Mahram.
Since Covid-19 pandemic whole of the travel industry has changed, the Health Ministry of Saudi and Indian authorities’ issues guidelines, protocols regarding travel. Umrah Pilgrim has to abide them at any cost before & during travel. Hence no excuse whatsoever will be accepted in this case.
- If a flight is cancelled /changed due to any reason whatsoever, the tour operator/ tour organizer will not be responsible for that in any case. Pilgrim/Pilgrims has/ have to make its/their own arrangement/s for accommodation, food, transport, flights, etc. & pay for the same. We will try our best to help you in this regard.
- Vaccination certificate providing that the Pilgrim is fully vaccinated at least 15 days prior to travel is to be submitted at the time of booking.
- If any Pilgrim gets Covid positive during the trip, the Pilgrim has to bear all the expenses himself.
- We are not responsible for lost/Theft/Damage of passports.
- We will not be responsible for any Delay, Rejection or Mistake in Umrah Visa from Saudi Embassy.
- Pilgrims requiring wheelchair have to carry/arrange their own wheelchair
- Diabetic patients/ Pilgrims who require special meals have to arrange their own food.
- Umrah cost does not include any personal expenses during Travel.
- In all cases Visa, Mofa Fees is Non Refundable.
- There shall be no refund in case of unused service/s or lesser duration of stay.
- Luggage allowance will be as per the Airlines policy.
- In case a Pilgrim has Excess luggage than the allowed Luggage by the airlines, charges has to be paid by the pilgrim.
- Food will not be provided on Airports & Intercity Transfers.
- The package gets 100% NON REFUNDABLE before 10 days of Departure, if a Pilgrim cancels his trip due to whatsoever reason.
- Tour operator is not responsible for any loss of luggage/Damage/Misplace etc.
- Due to Covid 19 lot of things have changed related to travel, Umrah Pilgrimage. Every pilgrim has to follow the protocols, guidelines of the concern Airlines, Country at each & every step. Tour operator will not be responsible in any case, if a Pilgrim is stopped, detained by the concerned authorities due to what so ever reason.
