Our Journey
The idea of venturing into the travel and tourism business was conceived by our father way back in 2005 to boost the tourism sector in Jammu and Kashmir and to create an avenue of employment for the people of the Kashmir valley. The motive for this initiative was to explore the highly untapped potential of the tourism industry in the valley.
Our vision of starting a travel and tourism business became real when our unit got registered with the Tourism Department under the Jammu & Kashmir Registration of Tourist Trade Act 1978/2011, under the title of MG Tours and Travels on 02 May 2015.
Our unit with registration number TA/21/TOP was inaugurated on 29 May 2015 by the Director of Tourism and Managing Director (JKTDC) in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, various officers from Anantnag and Pahalgham, and many famous businessmen and hoteliers of the Valley.

For about a decade now, we at MG Tours and Travels have been working endlessly and tirelessly to realize the mission of our late father.
His mission, to give the tourism industry of Kashmir a boost and at the same time make the Hajj and Umrah for Kashmiri people easier, has materialized and is taking perfect shape.
We are a bridge for the Muslim pilgrims from Kashmir, embarking on the journey of Hajj and/or Umrah. MG Tours and Travels ensures that every need of the pilgrims is taken care of, while they supplicate and make the most of their journeys. From Visas to transportation and from hotels to food, we ensure the best within the most economical packages.
Besides, we provide a window to the tourists traveling to Kashmir, into this beautiful valley. We ensure they are taken care of in the best possible manner and in the process, Kashmir is getting promoted as the ultimate tourist destination.
